CUBAN SALSA & RUEDA DE CASINO
Rueda de Cassino is a way of dancing Cuban Salsa traditionally danced in the streets, clubs and people’s homes. What makes Rueda de Casino unique, is that the dancing is done in a circle, as a group, with followers being passed round the circle quickly while dancing specific moves. Each move or “call” has a name in Spanish and is called by a leader. It is a fun and challenging way of dancing and pupils learn spatial awareness, communication and listening skills, partner and team work, basic Spanish language skills and benefit from improved memory and awareness.
